Sweden-based global gaming operator Betsson has added a bingo-slots hybrid game to its network after striking a deal with game developer Gaming Realms.
Gaming Realms have worked on the game concept, known as Slingo, which was first developed in the 1990s by a US company, and have since produced a range of variants on the basic gameplay, which will now be available to online bingo and slots players who use the Betsson, Betsafe, NordicBet, CasinoEuro or Europebet online platforms.
Slingo is a cross between bingo and the traditional slots game, which gives players twenty chances to spin numbers and match them with the numbers on the bingo card. As well as the bingo core of the game, Slingo games include additional features such as Wild Cards, Free Spins and Coins.
The games are proving popular with online players and casinos, with many offering Free Play to give potential customers a chance to try out the game.
After developing Slingo Originals, Gaming Realms have produced a range of variants, including Slingo Extreme, Slingo XXXtreme, along with Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and XFactor-branded versions, all of which will now be available to Betsson players.
Speaking about the deal, the Director of Product at Betsson, Ciara Nic Liam, said that it was part of the company’s aim of adding innovative gaming content to their brand:
“With an established following, Slingo games represents an ideal partner and we look forward to offering this content to our international audiences.”
Gaming Realms has also been able to announce an agreement with Instant Win Games, which will see Slingo variants made available through NASPL and WLA Lotteries around the world.
